BFX, having prepared top Kai'Sa, got off to a strong start when 'Clear''s Kai'Sa teamed up with 'Raptor''s Qiyana during a big wave crash to secure an early kill on 'Siwoo''s Gnar. No kills occurred for roughly the next 10 minutes until DK scored two kills by picking off Qiyana and Caitlyn in a skirmish. As the contest remained tight, a battle broke out in BFX's blue buff area, where BFX eliminated 'Lucid''s Jarvan IV and 'Career''s Karma before heading straight to secure Baron.

Securing Baron at 22 minutes, BFX widened the gold gap further through macro play and consistently secured Dragons. However, after overextending for a skirmish, DK scored four kills to narrow the gold difference. Later, 'ShowMaker''s Ahri initiated a fight in mid lane by Charming Ryze, but right before dying, Ryze bought time with Zhonya's Hourglass to flip the teamfight structure, leading to a massive teamfight victory for BFX and another successful Baron take.

At the 33-minute mark, BFX held a gold lead of roughly 5,000 and began pulling away in earnest using the Baron buff. DK managed a dramatic defense after losing their top and mid inhibitors with both Nexus turrets destroyed, but during a standoff in mid lane, 'ShowMaker''s Ahri was picked off, giving up another Baron to BFX. Unable to withstand the final assault, DK conceded as BFX claimed Game 2 as well.
