Netmarble announced on the 3rd that it has rolled out a major content update for its collectible RPG 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH', adding the new hero 'Hayeon'. The game is developed by Netmarble Nexus.

The newly revealed hero '[Final Priestess] Hayeon' of the Guardian of the Boundary faction is a supporter who can be utilized in physical offensive and magic decks based on her role support effects. An Awakening for the existing magic-type Legendary hero '[Black Moon Witch] Velika' has also been added. Awakened Velika received skill buffs to display enhanced performance in key content, 'Tower of Infinity'.

In the new PvE content 'Abyssal Conquest', four types of bosses appear on a rotation basis. Players can increase combat power by deploying heroes and pets that meet the conditions for each boss. Raid tickets are earned based on combat scores, and additional rewards can be obtained once per account based on the achieved combat power.

Content and quality-of-life features have also been revamped. The number of stages in Adventure, Growth Dungeons, and Raids has been reduced, and entry currency is waived until the first clear. The repeat-battle 'fodder farming' stages have been separated into a dedicated mode, allowing players to carry out repeat battles and Adventure simultaneously. A reserve key system that accumulates keys even while offline and a mileage feature that grants rewards based on the number of hero pick-up summons have also been introduced.

'Adventurer's Path', which consolidates previously fragmented events, has also been established. Completing in-game missions rewards players with five Seven Knights of Old heroes, 5-star accessory selection boxes, and more. New players will receive Legendary pets 'Windy' and 'Freyja', as well as Legendary hero and pet selection tickets.

Update celebration events are also underway. The 'Fresh Breeze Festival Push Event' distributes 3,000 Rubies and one Shining Skill Enhancement Stone over 14 days. The 'Fresh Breeze Festival Selection Summon', which allows players to designate Korean-style heroes Sunran, Dongyoung, and Yoongun on their wishlist to summon them, as well as a growth event providing rewards based on Hayeon's acquisition and growth stages, have also been prepared.

Netmarble officially launched 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' on the Galaxy Store on the same day. Pre-registration participants are rewarded with one Legendary Hero Summon Voucher III, one Legendary Egg, and a Novice Adventurer Support Equipment Box.

'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' is a remake project that inherits key elements such as the story and combat system of the original 'Seven Knights' while reflecting modern trends. It officially launched in South Korea on May 15, 2025, and according to Netmarble, it reached No. 1 in App Store revenue within seven hours of launch, and No. 1 in revenue across both major domestic app stores within five days.
