Cygames announced on September 3 that it will host 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2026 Season 2' (SKO 2026 Season 2), the official esports tournament for 'Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond', in October.

'SKO 2026 Season 2' features a total prize pool of 20 million won. The online preliminaries and playoffs will take place on October 10, with the top eight players advancing to the offline finals on October 18.

Registration will be accepted from September 18 to October 1 through the 'Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond Tournament Navigator' (SVWB Tournament Navigator) app. South Korean residents aged 16 or older as of the preliminary date are eligible to participate, and all participants will receive an original event emblem.

The preliminaries will feature up to seven rounds of a Swiss-system tournament using two decks in a best-of-three (BO3) format. Players with two cumulative losses will be eliminated, while players with one loss or fewer will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will be held on the same day as a BO3 single-elimination tournament of up to two rounds.

The finals will determine the champion through a BO3 single-elimination format and will be broadcast live on the official Shadowverse YouTube channel and Cygames' official CHZZK channel.

The winner will receive 10 million won in prize money and a spot as the South Korean representative at the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026' in Japan. The runner-up will receive 5 million won, third and fourth place will each receive 1.4 million won, and fifth through eighth place will each receive 550,000 won. High-ranking finishers other than the champion will gain entry rights to international online tournaments, including the 'Shadowverse International Wildcard Qualifier 2026'.
