Digital Touch announced on September 3 that it released the Nintendo Switch 2 version of KOEI TECMO GAMES' dark Three Kingdoms action RPG 'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition' and unveiled a launch trailer.

'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition' is the complete edition containing the base game 'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty' and three DLC expansions: 'Battle of Zhongyuan', 'Conqueror of Jiangdong', and 'Upheaval in Jingxiang'. It includes new weapon types such as the cestus, long sword, and whip, along with additional scenarios, characters, Divine Beasts, stage difficulty and feature expansions for Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei's forces, as well as the endgame content 'Thousand-Mile Journey'.

Free expansion update content, including collaboration equipment and stages with 'NARAKA: BLADEPOINT', 'Lies of P', and 'Nioh 2', is also available from the start. The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports up to three-player multiplayer via online and local communications. Versions for other supported platforms were released on February 7, 2024.

According to Digital Touch, the cumulative global player count for the 'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty' series has surpassed 8 million players. This figure includes digital downloads, physical package sales, and subscription service play counts.

Developed by Team NINJA, 'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty' is set in the late Eastern Han Dynasty period of the Three Kingdoms, following a nameless militia soldier who stands against a conspiracy surrounding 'Elixir', an elixir of immortality. The sequel 'Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember' is scheduled to be released in early 2027, with further details to be disclosed at a later date.
