| CD Projekt Red has set new cumulative sales records across its two main RPG pillars. 'Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty' has passed 15 million copies, while 'The Witcher' series crossed 90 million. Driven by long-tail sales and IP licensing revenue, first-half revenue also rose 23% year-over-year.

According to H1 2026 financial data disclosed by CD Projekt Red Group on September 2, cumulative sales of 'Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty', released on September 26, 2023, surpassed 15 million copies in less than three years since launch.

In a follow-up report, RPG Site noted that this tally includes both standalone expansion sales and units included in 'Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition'. 'Phantom Liberty' is available on PC, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is included in the Ultimate Edition bundling the base game and expansion on Nintendo Switch 2.

The cumulative sales figure of 40 million copies for the base game 'Cyberpunk 2077' presented in the same report was previously disclosed in July. The newly confirmed sales milestone for 'Cyberpunk' in this earnings release is the 15 million copies for 'Phantom Liberty'.

The 'The Witcher' series also surpassed 90 million cumulative copies sold. Among them, 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt', released in 2015, accounted for over 65 million copies.

The sales milestones were announced alongside earnings growth. CD Projekt Red Group's revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 435 million Polish złoty (PLN), an increase of 23% year-over-year. Consolidated net profit rose approximately 37% to 249 million PLN, recording a net profit margin of 57.2%.

CD Projekt Red explained that sales of 'Cyberpunk' and 'The Witcher' games supported first-half revenue. It added that its IP licensing business, expanding beyond video games, also made a meaningful contribution to performance.
