On the 2nd, at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno, the match for Round 2 of the Winners' Bracket in the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' Playoffs took place between Hanwha Life Esports and T1. In Game 1, T1 secured victory thanks to the monstrous carry performance of 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan.

In Game 1, the junglers of both teams were extremely busy right from the early game. When 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok's Lee Sin scored First Blood with a mid dive, 'Oner' Moon Hyeon-joon's Pantheon arrived just in time to clean up the situation. Afterward, Lee Sin struck effectively in the top lane where the wave was pushed, while Pantheon delivered in the bottom lane after securing a duo kill, empowering their respective teams.

It was Hanwha Life Esports that took things a step further. Lee Sin ambushed the bottom lane to add two more kills, while 'Zeus' Choi Woo-je's Olaf landed a solo kill in the top lane. A four-man dive in the mid lane also brought down 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Ryze. T1 caught their breath by committing multiple members to the top lane to shut down Olaf. Another positive for T1 was Kalista securing 5 kills.

In the Rift Herald teamfight, while Olaf's attention was fixed on Ryze, a setup was created that allowed Kalista to pour out damage, giving T1 the upper hand. Hanwha Life Esports caught their breath by securing the third dragon. However, after picking off 'Doran' Choi Hyeon-joon's Jayce in a side lane, they were flanked while attacking the turret, resulting in both Lee Sin and Olaf being eliminated.

Having taken consecutive hits, Hanwha Life Esports answered back with a strong teamfight performance around the Infernal Soul. Jayce was caught helplessly by the Olaf and Annie combo, while with the main group, 'Delight' Yoo Hwan-joong's Seraphine bought enough time for the two to rejoin thanks to a great ultimate. T1 countered with a crushing victory in a surprise teamfight that broke out near Baron.

With the game still neck-and-neck, 'Peyz' displayed overwhelming power. In a standoff, he initiated the fight by targeting 'Gumayusi' Lee Min-hyeong's Ashe directly and secured the kill after a chase. Re-grouping and advancing mid once more, T1 brought down a clean Ace, once again led by Kalista. Kalista went wild right in the middle of the enemy team, securing the Game 1 victory.
