NHN PlayArt announced on September 2 that it will participate in Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, for the first time in eight years. The event will run from September 17 to 21.
NHN PlayArt will set up a booth in Hall 2 of Makuhari Messe, offering game demos, photo zones, gacha machines, and more. Visitors will be able to play seven titles developed by the company, including upcoming releases.
The three new titles are the puzzle RPG 'Touken Ranbu Puzzgiri', the casual puzzle game 'Pufflings: Journey Through a Fantasy World', and the card battle RPG 'OVER RUSH'. The lineup also features 'DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY', launched this past March; 'Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble', which recorded 36 million downloads in Japan; and '#COMPASS Combat Providence Analysis System', which surpassed 20 million cumulative downloads in Japan during its 10th year of service.
During the event, giveaway events will be held for booth visitors, offering shoulder bags and card sets. Stage events will also take place, where developers and special guests will interact with fans.
NHN PlayArt has also launched a TGS 2026 special website providing information on participating titles, booth details, and stage events.
"As this is our first Tokyo Game Show appearance in eight years, we have prepared seven titles—including new releases that showcase the development synergy between our Korean and Japanese game businesses—along with a variety of attractions for users," said Ujin Chung, CEO of NHN PlayArt. "We look forward to connecting closely with visitors on-site and building anticipation for our newly revealed games."
