On the 1st, the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) and the Korea Workforce Development Institute for the Aged signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 'Creating Customized Senior Jobs and Closing the Digital Divide' at GRAC headquarters in Busan.

This agreement was established to create customized jobs leveraging senior professionals' rich social experience and expertise, and to promote game literacy education for seniors. The two organizations plan to connect their training infrastructure, content, and networks to collaborate on senior job creation and the development of the gaming industry.

Key points of the agreement include training and managing senior game instructors, planning and operating training programs for skilled senior personnel, utilizing linked educational portals, infrastructure, and networks, and providing budgetary support necessary for project operation.

Based on this agreement, GRAC plans to train experienced seniors as 'game instructors' to provide employment opportunities, bridge the digital divide for the elderly, and promote a healthy gaming culture.

Seo Tae-geon, Chairperson of the Game Rating and Administration Committee, stated, "This agreement will serve as a meaningful opportunity to connect seniors' rich experience and expertise with the healthy development of the gaming industry." He added, "Through close cooperation with the Korea Workforce Development Institute for the Aged, we will take the lead in creating sustainable, customized senior jobs and fostering a digitally inclusive society."
