Kakao Games announced on September 1 that it will hold an online showcase for 'World of Dokkaebi', a new 2.5D MMORPG currently under development by Supercat, at 8:00 PM on September 8.

The showcase will take place on the official 'World of Dokkaebi' YouTube channel. It will introduce key systems and future operational plans, alongside actual gameplay footage featuring regions, skills, and combat scenes.

Kakao Games will also reveal key service plans for the first time, including the official release schedule. A program with influencers conducting a Q&A on the game's core content and features will also be provided.

'World of Dokkaebi' is an MMORPG currently in development based on the Naver web novel and webtoon IP 'Myeolgwi Sudojeon'. It applies hybrid visuals combining 2D pixel-art characters with 3D backgrounds, constructing its universe with pixel art infused with traditional Korean aesthetics. REDICE STUDIO, the production studio behind 'Solo Leveling', also participated in the collaboration.

Kakao Games plans to disclose detailed service plans during the showcase and continue preparations with a target official launch in October.
