Cinematic filming for Naughty Dog's new title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, has wrapped.

On September 1 (KST), Naughty Dog announced via official social media channels that cinematic filming for Intergalactic has concluded. In the accompanying photo, actress Tati Gabrielle—who plays protagonist Jordan A. Moon in Intergalactic—can be seen wearing a motion-capture suit while holding a prop gun.

The announcement came just hours after Sony announced its State of Play showcase. The last time Naughty Dog shared development updates on Intergalactic was in early 2025. Consequently, many expect Intergalactic to make an appearance at this State of Play.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a brand-new franchise from Naughty Dog, famous for series such as Uncharted and The Last of Us. First revealed at The Game Awards in December 2024, it has been in development since 2020.

The game is set thousands of years in the future. Players take on the role of Jordan A. Moon, a bounty hunter stranded on a distant planet. To escape a planet that no one has managed to leave for 600 years, players must make full use of the protagonist's skills and resourcefulness.
