On August 31, MBC Game Studio revealed its debut title, '1001 Threads of Mizan,' during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live.

'1001 Threads of Mizan' is an action-adventure game set in a fantasy world inspired by One Thousand and One Nights and Arabian folklore. Centered on exploration, colossal boss combat, and cooperative play, the game is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The story begins as the legendary storyweaver Shahrazad summons three heroes: Yusra, Malik, and Sufyan. The three heroes set out on a journey to reclaim the lost power of the Mizan and stop ancient jinn consumed by vengeance from destroying humanity.

Traversal and combat using flying carpets are key elements of the game. Players can seamlessly move between land and sky as they explore the world, experiencing combat and narrative progression through flight.

Cooperative play supports up to three players. Featuring a drop-in/drop-out system that allows players to freely join or leave mid-game, players can soar through the skies on flying carpets with others to confront colossal jinn.

MBC Game Studio CEO Daniel Engelhardt said, "Through fast-paced traversal spanning land and sky, combat against colossal jinn, and immersive exploration, we captured the beauty and spirit of these timeless stories, designing the experience so players can share a heroic adventure with friends."

MBC Game Studio also showcased a pre-alpha demo for general attendees, media, and content creators at Gamescom 2026. The on-site demo featured cooperative play, aerial combat on flying carpets, and a boss fight against Nazjush.
