On the 30th, kt Rolster secured a clean 3-0 victory against Dplus KIA in Round 1 of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Playoffs held at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno. Although Dplus KIA was initially expected to hold the upper hand, kt Rolster delivered a shutout performance completely opposite to their regular-season form. kt Rolster is set to face Gen.G in Round 2 of the playoffs.

The following is the full post-match interview with Jung 'Jiwoo' Ji-woo, who was named POM (Player of the Match).

Q. You advanced to Round 2 of the playoffs with a 3-0 sweep against Dplus KIA, who had been on a strong run. How do you feel about the win?

'Jiwoo': Since it was my first time playing on the playoff stage, I was a little nervous. Still, I'm really happy that we won cleanly 3-0.

Q. This playoff was your very first PO stage, and you delivered a great performance to earn POM honors. How does it feel to be a key player in such an important match?

'Jiwoo': First of all, I really didn't expect to receive POM. It feels amazing to be named POM on a stage as big as the playoffs.

Q. What did you focus on the most heading into today's match?

'Jiwoo': I remembered almost getting thrown on in a past head-to-head match, so I gave a lot of thought to teamfights and meticulously prepared for the laning phase matchups.

Q. In Game 1, you showed aggressive play on Ezreal by using forward Arcane Shifts at key moments. You've been showing particularly bold plays on Ezreal lately—is there a secret to that?

'Jiwoo': I've been playing Ezreal a lot recently, and because my win rate was quite good in scrims and practice, I think I naturally gained a lot of confidence.

Q. In Game 2, there was an incredible comeback. You overturned a deficit of a whopping 14,000 gold. What do you think is kt Rolster's formula for a comeback?

'Jiwoo': When everyone on the team doesn't give up until the end and we capitalize well on the opponent's mistakes, it seems like comebacks happen naturally.

Q. In Game 3, you selected jungle Cho'Gath alongside the Ashe-Seraphine bot lane duo. What strengths of Cho'Gath did you see that led to the pick?

'Jiwoo': I ran into Cho'Gath in solo queue, and he looked pretty good. When our composition needed a solid front line, Cho'Gath is so sturdy that I thought he was a great pick in that regard.

Q. In Game 3, your accuracy with Ashe's 'Enchanted Crystal Arrow' was exquisite. It was also memorable to see you shout 'Nice!' after landing an arrow—were you feeling that confident?

'Jiwoo': Our team had great momentum leading 2-0, and since the laning phase went smoothly in-game as well, I think I rode that momentum to fire my ultimate boldly.

Q. Midway through Game 3, pulling off a sneaky Baron proved to be a masterstroke. Whose call was it at the time?

'Jiwoo': I don't remember exactly whether it was Bo-seong (Bdd) or Woo-chan (Cuzz), but I think the two older teammates led the play while hitting Baron together.

Q. Gen.G selected kt Rolster as their opponent for Round 2 of the playoffs. Did you expect that?

'Jiwoo': Honestly, I had no idea we would be picked, but since we're playing them anyway, I'll work hard and do my best.

Q. Finally, please share a word of determination ahead of the upcoming match against Gen.G.

'Jiwoo': We won 3-0 today, so I'll carry this momentum forward to show many good performances in the next match and make sure we reach Worlds.
