KT Rolster secured a Game 2 comeback victory, bringing the set score to 2-0 and reaching match point. Trailing by 7,000 gold at 20 minutes and up to 14,000 gold at 32 minutes, they never gave up hope, and as their teamfight composition came online, they completed the massive turnaround.
First blood in Game 2 went to Dplus KIA. 'Lucid' Choi Yong-hyeok's Vi ambushed mid lane to take down 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong's Ahri. In the top lane, 'Siwoo' Jeon Si-woo's Jayce firmly held priority and opened up a significant growth gap, allowing Dplus KIA to lead by over 2,000 gold within 10 minutes without any major missteps. In a dragon teamfight, they also caught 'Jiwoo' Jeong Ji-woo's Kalista and secured the Dragon.
KT Rolster tried to buy time by securing major objectives whenever possible. However, they suffered consecutive teamfight losses in the process, allowing the growth gap to widen further. KT Rolster started the Dragon first once again, but Dplus KIA collapsed on them quickly, securing a sweeping victory behind Jayce's triple kill and claiming the Baron as well.
Dplus KIA secured the second Baron as well, picking off 'PerfecT' Lee Seung-min's Rumble in the process. However, KT Rolster made a desperate last stand in front of their top inhibitor, forcing Dplus KIA to retreat and denying them the Dragon Soul. To make matters worse for Dplus KIA, Jayce was caught while holding mid lane, forcing them to concede Baron. The momentum was gradually shifting toward KT Rolster.
Around the 40-minute mark, seeing Vi far away, KT Rolster decisively initiated a fight. With a numerical advantage, Kalista ran wild in the heart of enemy lines, pouring out damage, and by the time Vi arrived, the battle was already decided. Jayce and Annie alone were helpless against KT Rolster's full force. With that, KT Rolster pulled off a monumental 14,000 gold comeback victory.
