On August 29, the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Playoffs Round 1 match between T1 and BNK FearX took place at ChZZk LoL Park in Jonggak. T1 claimed a dominant victory in Game 1. Starting from a winning skirmish in the mid-bot river, T1 consistently snowballed advantages to complete the win.

BNK FearX took First Blood in Game 1. 'Raptor' Jeon Eojin's Jarvan IV ganked mid lane to eliminate 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Taliyah. T1 responded with a fight. In a river standoff, Taliyah caught 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang's Ryze with Seismic Shove to secure a kill, then added two more kills in the ensuing chase for a huge payout. 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan's Yunara moved to 2/0/1.

Riding the momentum, T1 accelerated the pace. A bot dive utilizing Taliyah's ultimate picked off 'Kellin' Kim Hyeong-gyu's Milio, while a clean counter-attack in mid shut down Ryze once again. Although BNK FearX managed to eliminate 'Doran' Choi Hyeon-joon's Jayce with a top dive, T1 secured a Dragon and knocked down the bot tower in the meantime.

As T1 won a mid teamfight, the gold lead hit 5,000. 'Oner' Mun Hyeon-jun's Vi survived for a surprisingly long time after being pulled under the tower, trading out with the enemy jungler, while Yunara reeled in 'Clear' Song Hyeon-min's K'Sante for another kill. Continuing to score in every subsequent teamfight, T1 won a split-front fight across the map behind Yunara's stellar performance and secured Baron.

Despite being behind, BNK FearX kept searching for openings. While Ryze's play onto Taliyah came to nothing, they did succeed in catching out Jayce. However, the gold deficit had already surpassed 10,000, and T1 claimed both the Hextech Soul and Baron. Ultimately, T1 scored a clean Ace in a frontal teamfight inside the enemy jungle before destroying the Nexus.
