Nongshim has participated in Gamescom 2026, the world's largest gaming convention held in Cologne, Germany.

Nongshim set up an indoor experiential booth with a "Shin Ramyun Factory" concept in Hall 8 of the exhibition venue. Visitors to the booth can take on the role of virtual factory employees and participate in four missions. The company operates 'Pumping Game', a co-op activity where players operate apparatus until a cup noodle inflates; 'Skee-Ball', a solo game where four balls are rolled into holes; 'Noodle River', where four players press buttons simultaneously to scoop up noodles; and 'Topping Ball', where key ingredients are placed into matching packaging. Based on mission results, participants earn between 1 and 4 points, which can be exchanged at the outdoor booth for Shin Ramyun fans, pouches, and 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' collaboration merchandise.
Nongshim also participated as the exclusive sponsor for Gamescom Beach, an outdoor relaxation area at the venue. During the event, the space is themed around TASTE SHIN and officially operated under the name "gamescom beach spiced up by Nongshim". Visitors can relax and experience the products using the Shin Ramyun Toomba tasting area, photo zone, and lounge provided in the zone.
On August 27, Kim Hyung-seok, Head of Nongshim Europe, gave a presentation to global corporate executives outlining Shin Ramyun's market entry process and future plans as the brand marks its 40th anniversary this year.
"Shin Ramyun, which has been part of Koreans' daily lives for 40 years, has now grown into a global brand loved all across the world," said Kim. "By adding new enjoyment and cultural experiences to Korea's iconic spicy flavor, we will elevate Shin Ramyun from a Korean soul food to a soul food for people everywhere."
