Two Hands Games announced on August 28 that its mobile social golf game 'Golf Super Crew' has been nominated in the General Games - Frontier category for the '2026 Excellent Game of the Year' awards.

'Excellent Game of the Year' is a domestic game awards program hosted by organizations including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA). Originally launched in 1997 as 'Game of the Month', the program changed its name this year to mark its 30th anniversary and was reorganized from a twice-yearly selection process into a single consolidated annual awards system.

'Golf Super Crew' is a mobile social golf game offering modes such as 'Super League', a real-time competitive mode where players take their shots without waiting for their opponent's turn; 'SwingChat', a 1v1 asynchronous match mode where friends send shots back and forth; and 'Crew Made Open', which lets users host custom tournaments with their own rules. It also features courses inspired by global landmarks, unique characters, costumes, and equipment progression elements.

The game launched globally in February 2025 and was released domestically in South Korea on June 29 via Google Play, the Apple App Store, and ONE Store. According to Two Hands Games, it reached 2nd place overall in the 'Popular Apps/Games' chart in the Korean Google Play sports category on August 21 and maintains 1st place among golf games on the chart as of August 28.

User voting for the '2026 Excellent Game of the Year' will run until 3:00 PM on September 11. Users who complete identity verification can cast one vote for a nominee in each category: Blockbuster, Frontier, Indie Games, and Functional Games.
