Nexon announced on August 28 that it has updated its mobile MMORPG 'MapleStory M' with new boss 'Kaling'.

Set in the Shangri-La region, 'Kaling' comes in Normal and Hard difficulties, challengeable by characters at Level 280 or higher. As defeat rewards, players can obtain new necklace slot equipment 'Imitation God's Knot', alongside 'Transfer Scrolls', refining material 'Instrument of Death', and 'Kaling's Soul Shard'.

In addition, the second skill for 'Constella Core' has been added to the game's original skill system, 'Stella Code'. The new buff skills provided for each job class feature invincibility effects and passive attack effects that add extra projectiles, making them useful for both boss raids and monster hunting.

Through September 16, Nexon is running an account-wide event, 'Additional Potential Scroll Alchemy', for characters Level 100 or higher. By collecting and submitting the material item 'Additional Magic Powder' via daily missions, players can acquire items such as 'Additional Potential Scroll'. Collecting more materials grants a greater opportunity to obtain higher-tier scrolls.

Through September 30, a 'World Leap' event will allow players to transfer up to five characters of Level 230 or higher raised in Challengers World per account to existing worlds. Transferred data includes items and Mesos in character inventories, unlock and enhancement statuses for 'V Cores', 'V Points', 'Sol Erda Fragments', and other specified currencies and information.

In addition, the second round of the 'Shangri-La Coin Shop' will run until September 20. Items such as 'Wonder Black Water of Life' and 'Boss Killer's Secret Medicine' have been added to the Heavenly Peach Shop, while the Cosmetic Shop offers items like 'Ren Hat Selection Box' and 'Ink Calligraphy Damage Skin (Unit)'.
