Com2uS Holdings (CEO Jung Chul-ho) announced on August 26 that its well-made collectible RPG 'Star Sailors' is launching a collaboration with the popular Naver Webtoon 'The Extra's Academy Survival Guide'.

'The Extra's Academy Survival Guide' is a popular work telling the story of a protagonist transported into his favorite game as a third-rate extra, struggling to change his destined fate and survive.

Through this collaboration, the webtoon's popular character 'Lucy Mayril' appears as a 3-star companion. Wielding lightning magic, Lucy can deal heavy damage to enemies based on her powerful offensive capabilities. A new SSR-tier Memory Piece featuring Lucy's narrative, 'Reason for Living', has also been added to further boost character combat power. In addition, a new skin inspired by the genius spirit master 'Yenika Failover' was introduced. A 'Story Event' where characters from the webtoon visit the world of 'Star Sailors' to unfold a unique storyline is also underway.

A new equipment system called 'Artifacts', designed to increase the utility of existing characters, has also been added. Equipping an Artifact simultaneously applies 'Resonance', which raises specific stats, and 'Recoil', which lowers other stats, adding to the fun of building delicate strategies according to team composition and roles. Artifacts can be obtained through the newly added 'Ruins System'. In the check-in event commemorating the collaboration, players can guaranteed recruit the new companion 'Lucy' simply by logging into the game, while also obtaining various growth resources as rewards, including 'Golden Compass' and 'Silver Compass'.
