HoYoverse announced on August 26 that its new planet life simulation game, Petit Planet, will launch globally this winter.
Petit Planet is HoYoverse's first planet life simulation game, and its latest video and launch plans were revealed at Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live, held in Cologne, Germany, on August 26 (local time).
The newly released video captures planetary landscapes where fishing lines sway under the sunlight and crops grow with changing seasons, offering a glimpse of a warm atmosphere where players travel across the Starsea and interact with neighbors.
Players become a "Planet Tender" of their planet, freely transforming the terrain and dividing zones according to their purpose to cultivate a one-of-a-kind home.
Additionally, players can gather resources and craft furniture to personalize the wilderness, while enjoying a peaceful, heartwarming daily life of gathering, adventuring, and house building alongside fuzzy neighbors through the neighbor interaction system.
Furthermore, players can set sail across the Starsea to explore scattered islets, discovering diverse terrains, ecosystems, rare resources, and unexpected encounters in a wider world.
In addition, players can enjoy time together and share their planet life with players around the world in the bustling Galactic Bazaar.
Petit Planet supports cross-platform progression across PC, iOS, and Android, with pre-registration currently underway on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Epic Games Store.
During Gamescom 2026, a hands-on demo booth will be available at Hall 6.1, Booth B030, where attendees can play the game in person.
Further details regarding the "Final Test" will be announced at a later date, and more information about Petit Planet can be found on the official website and official social media channels.
