On August 25, Rebel Wolves released a new gameplay trailer for the console version on the official 'The Blood of Dawnwalker' YouTube channel and officially announced the addition of a 'Performance' mode supporting 60fps gameplay.

The updated video showcases gameplay footage of the previously revealed 'Quality' and 'Balanced' modes, as well as new footage of the Performance mode running on each console. The newly introduced Performance mode aims for 60fps gameplay based on dynamic 4K resolution across all console platforms, including PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X. As a result, console players will be able to choose from a total of three graphics options, joining the existing Quality (30fps) and Balanced (40fps) modes.
Previously, due to the nature of a large-scale Unreal Engine 5-based open-world title, 'The Blood of Dawnwalker' focused heavily on resolution and visual detail, capping the console version's maximum frame rate at 40fps. In particular, after it was confirmed that a 60fps mode was omitted even on the high-performance PS5 Pro, players expressed disappointment immediately following the reveal, noting that it was somewhat out of step with recent console gaming trends.
However, along with the release of the new gameplay video, the development team demonstrated swift responsiveness to player feedback by officially announcing the addition of a dynamic 4K 60fps Performance mode across all console platforms.
Meanwhile, 'The Blood of Dawnwalker' is scheduled to officially launch on September 3 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
