Devsisters (CEO Cho Gil-hyun) announced that it will hold the "CookieRun Grand Festival," a franchise-wide offline event for the CookieRun IP, at Seoul Children's Grand Park in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul over two days from October 24 to 25.

Marking the 10th anniversary of CookieRun: OvenBreak's launch, the festival offers a variety of on-site programs, serving as a meaningful occasion for players who have been part of the journey as well as a celebration everyone who loves CookieRun can enjoy. On-site admission is free for visitors of all ages on both days.

First, the main stage of the 'CookieRun: OvenBreak World Championship 2026' will take place at the venue. For players who advance to the offline main tournament through regional qualifiers running from October 10 to 18, the quarterfinals will be held on October 24, followed by the semifinals and finals on October 25. Through this tournament, a second world champion will be crowned, succeeding last year's winner, Kukusi of South Korea.

Ahead of the tournament, an in-game esports mode will launch within CookieRun: OvenBreak on August 27, allowing anyone to preview the official tournament maps. Tickets offering reserved seating for live matches along with additional festival perks will go on sale in September.

In addition, 10th-anniversary celebratory programs for CookieRun: OvenBreak will add to the excitement, including a commemorative space showcasing 10 years of shared history with players, interactive experience zones, and various stage events such as a quiz show.

A wide variety of programs will also be available for anyone to enjoy CookieRun, even if they are not CookieRun: OvenBreak players. First, CookieRun's very first marathon, 'Brave CookieRUN in Seoul' (hereafter referred to as the CookieRun Marathon), will take place on October 25.

The CookieRun Marathon is designed as a running adventure packed with CookieRun themes throughout the course, where runners start by passing through oven doors, collect Jellies and Gold Coins, and restore energy with Health Potions. The 10km course starts at Seoul Children's Grand Park and runs through downtown Seoul, welcoming approximately 7,000 participants. Registration for CookieRun Marathon tickets is available on the Runable and The Hyundai Hi apps and websites.

Furthermore, CookieRun AR (augmented reality) content will be introduced to maximize outdoor fun. Utilizing AR technology, visitors can roam the park grounds to meet Cookies in person while completing missions and mini-games in the app environment, offering an immersive experience that bridges online and offline gameplay.

In addition, a CookieRun franchise pop-up space, user-created content zone, and brand partner booths will be operated, while new limited-edition 10th-anniversary merchandise for CookieRun: OvenBreak will be unveiled on-site.

Meanwhile, CookieRun: OvenBreak engaged directly with players during a developer livestream held on its official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@CROvenBreakKR) on August 24 to share 10th-anniversary plans. The broadcast built anticipation by announcing the CookieRun Grand Festival alongside upcoming updates packed with abundant in-game content and events leading up to the 10th anniversary.
