The official title of 'Project RX,' a new game currently being developed by Producer Kim Yong-ha's team at Nexon Games, has been confirmed as 'Pareidolia.'
On August 24, the official logo for 'Pareidolia' was unveiled on its official X (formerly Twitter) account alongside an illustration featuring upcoming characters Minie, Shami, and Ohana fast asleep. Producer Kim Yong-ha had previously teased at Anime Expo that the title of the new project would consist of a single word rather than two.
'Pareidolia,' which revealed its logo in this announcement, is a new subculture title led by Producer Kim Yong-ha under Nexon Games. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game aims to realize an alternate world where players and charming characters live together. It highlights life content that allows players to interact with characters as well as immersive storytelling, targeting a release across PC, console, and mobile platforms in the future. Additionally, the game will participate in TGS 2026, held at Makuhari Messe starting September 17, marking its first major opportunity to meet with players following the title reveal.
Meanwhile, having officially revealed its game title and logo, the 'Pareidolia' development team plans to actively continue developer recruitment. The team is currently hiring for roles such as senior skill designers and content designers, and plans to steadily expand talent acquisition based on development progress.
