Kiwoom DRX failed to advance to the Play-Ins.
Kiwoom DRX was eliminated from Play-In contention after a 0-2 defeat against Nongshim RedForce in Round 4 of the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' held at Chzzk LoL Park in Jonggak on August 20. Head Coach Cho Jae-eup said, "I am sorry for the poor performance in such an important match that could have been our last," adding that they will make sure to put on a good performance in their final match of the regular season.
The following is the interview with Kiwoom DRX Head Coach Cho Jae-eup and 'Ucal' Song Woo-hyeon.

Q. What are your overall thoughts on today's match?
Head Coach Cho Jae-eup: I'm sorry for the poor performance in what could have been our last match.
'Ucal': It was an important match, so we prepared with all our effort, but the result is disappointing.
Q. How did you prepare for the match?
Head Coach Cho Jae-eup: I think the difference came down to how the jungle-support and mid-ADC pairings performed when it mattered most.
Q. You failed to advance to the Play-Ins.
Head Coach Cho Jae-eup: As head coach, a large part of the responsibility falls on me. It's very disappointing. A lot of thoughts cross my mind, but ultimately I fell short.
'Ucal': People around us helped a lot since the beginning of the year. My form improved, so I expected good results, but I'm deeply disappointed that it didn't turn out that way.
Q. You now have one final match remaining against DNS.
Head Coach Cho Jae-eup: The players must have felt heavy pressure. I think our gameplay lacked clear strengths and identity. We will make sure to deliver a good performance in the final match.
'Ucal': Even if it has no bearing on our standings, it's still an important match. We will show a good performance.
