Ahead of the official domestic launch of its new trading card game (TCG) Riftbound this September, Riot Games is offering players a chance to preview and purchase the first starter pack, 'Proving Grounds,' at an upcoming offline event.

Following the ongoing 'TFT Wild Fan Fest in The Hyundai Seoul,' the 'Riot Games Wild Fan Fest in Hyundai Department Store Pangyo' (hereinafter 'Wild Fan Fest in Hyundai Department Store Pangyo') will be held from Friday, the 21st, to Monday, the 31st, at the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch. This user-participation event will showcase Riot Games' flagship titles, including Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and League of Legends: Wild Rift, all in one place.

In particular, the Riftbound pop-up store at 'Iconic Square' on the 4th floor of the department store will serve as an offline space where players can experience and learn the game firsthand. The event will feature the first-ever public reveal of the physical 'Battlefield of Proof' starter pack, ahead of its official launch in September. Optimized for newcomers to Riftbound, the 'Battlefield of Proof' package is designed for 2–4 players and includes four introductory decks featuring iconic League of Legends champions—Annie, Master Yi, Lux, and Garen—along with a dedicated game board and large battlefield cards. Visitors to the 'Wild Fan Fest in The Hyundai Pangyo' will have the exclusive opportunity to experience and purchase the package before its official release.

A variety of programs and rewards will also be available for visitors. The event will feature tutorial sessions for beginners and hands-on gameplay experiences, with opportunities to earn promotional cards for 'Jinx' and 'Yasuo' by participating in events. Additionally, the event will showcase the physical cards for the first set, 'Origins,' which is set for official domestic release in September, as well as the 'Riftbound x 2025 Worlds Champion T1 Signature Edition,' commemorating T1's three consecutive World Championship victories, which is expected to draw significant attention from visitors.
