Subculture game developer Gentle Maniac (co-CEOs Bok Gyu-dong and Lee Tae-woong) announced on the 13rd that it has released a new content update for its mobile real-time strategy SRPG, 'Horizon Walker.'

The core of this update is the new 'Kotoha' character, featuring dedicated affinity content and a 'Multi-Adjutant Lobby System.' Kotoha, a character with an appealing design who identifies as a shrine maiden of the gods, offers an immersive experience through her own exclusive story and events. A season pass including an exclusive skin will be available alongside her release, allowing players to obtain costumes, various game items, and resources.

In addition to the new character, the 'Multi-Adjutant System' has been introduced, upgrading the previous lobby system that allowed only one adjutant to be displayed. This system allows players to place up to three characters in the lobby, meeting user demand for seeing various characters interact together.

Various features have also been added to improve user convenience. Combat quality-of-life improvements include a 'Focus Target' setting for auto-battle, a pop-up system to track new content unlocks, and a UI hide function during combat. Furthermore, significant improvements have been made to the affinity content that users value; players can now immediately identify which adjutants prefer specific items, and the unlock timing for interaction content has been made more explicit.

The update also introduces a new swimsuit costume for the popular character 'Olivia,' titled 'Shining Golden Vacation,' and makes the mini-game from last summer's event a permanent feature. This provides an opportunity for users who missed the event to enjoy the summer atmosphere.

Gentle Maniac CEO Lee Tae-woong stated, "This update focuses on the charming new character Kotoha, alongside quality-of-life improvements that reflect user feedback."
