Korea Board Games announced that it will open a pop-up store at the Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch. The event will run for 13 days, from August 11 to August 23, at the pop-up event space on the basement level 1 of the department store.
At this pop-up store, board games are available at discounts of up to 70%. Visitors can browse and purchase a wide variety of titles, ranging from recent releases like 'Aradao,' 'Wolf Street,' 'Catch the Saewookkang,' and 'Hands Go to Saewookkang' to various other popular board games. Some games will be sold at special discounted or flat rates, and customers who spend over ₩30k will receive a 'One Card Compact: Mickey & Friends' as a gift. Additionally, customers who purchase Saewookkang-themed board games released in collaboration with Nongshim, such as 'Catch the Saewookkang' and 'Hands Go to Saewookkang,' will also receive a pack of Saewookkang snacks.

While the pop-up store focuses on sales, some items will be available for hands-on experience. Visitors can try out the music quiz game 'Hitster K-POP,' the maze-building game 'La Cucaracha,' the one-on-one abstract game 'Othello Classic,' and the magnetic table soccer game 'Klask.' Furthermore, a giant version of the popular two-player abstract game 'Avalam Classic' will be unveiled for the first time at this event.
True to the 'Korea Board Games Collection' title, the store will also feature products beyond board games. Customers who purchase over ₩30k worth of products from the world-renowned die-cast vehicle brand Hot Wheels will receive a 'Hot Wheels 3-Pack.' Eight types of 'Oversized Monster Trucks' and six types of 'Brick Shop Speed Series' will be sold at a special price of ₩29900. A demonstration of the Hexbug 'Gecko,' which has gained popularity for its unique wall-crawling movement, is also planned. Customers who purchase GraviTrax will receive additional pillar tiles—essential for maximizing the experience—and the 'GAN356M Standard UV' cube will be offered at a 50% discount, among other promotions and giveaways.
The Korea Board Games Collection pop-up store offers a comprehensive look at the diverse product lines handled by the company. It has previously enjoyed great success at locations such as Yongsan I'Park Mall, The Hyundai Seoul, Lotte World Tower Mall in Jamsil, Starfield Suwon, and Starfield Goyang. This marks the first time the pop-up store is being held in Busan, and it is expected to be well-received by customers in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions who previously had limited access to these events.
