What is the growth timeline for the Vambrace? Reach Ancient grade by Week 7 with extra rewards
The 'Vambrace,' a key reward from Belgardin, is a new piece of equipment that boosts both Attack and Defense simultaneously. While it is an independent piece of equipment that does not count toward your weapon, armor, or item level, it provides a significant boost to combat power, making it a high priority for players preparing for endgame content.
The Vambrace is obtained at Epic grade upon clearing Gate 2 for the first time. It can be upgraded to Legend, Relic, and Ancient grades through 'Limit Break' at levels 10, 15, and 20. You earn 'Remnant of the Dead' in Normal mode and 'Hand of Death' in Hard and Nightmare modes. For the level 10 and 15 Limit Breaks, 1 Hand of Death can substitute for 2 Remnants of the Dead, but the level 20 Limit Break strictly requires 150 Hands of Death.
Without using extra rewards, Normal mode allows for a level 10 Limit Break by Week 7 and level 15 by Week 15. Hard and Nightmare modes allow for level 10 by Week 4, level 15 by Week 8, and level 20 by Week 13. Using extra rewards nearly cuts these times in half: Normal mode reaches level 10 by Week 4 and level 15 by Week 8, while Hard and Nightmare modes reach level 10 by Week 2, level 15 by Week 4, and level 20 by Week 7.

Boost Attack and Defense simultaneously for high combat power efficiency
The Vambrace's biggest advantage is that a single upgrade path increases both Attack and Defense. While weapon upgrades focus on offensive power and armor upgrades focus on survival and item level, the Vambrace provides both stats at once.
As weapon and armor upgrades become more expensive in terms of materials and gold at higher levels, the Vambrace—starting at the relatively low levels of 0–10—can be a highly cost-effective way to boost combat power.
However, upgrading the Vambrace requires materials used for both weapons and armor. You need both Fate Destruction Stone Crystals and Fate Guardian Stone Crystals, as well as Fate Embers, Great Fate Leapstones, and Superior Abydos Fusion Materials.
In other words, the Vambrace is not just a piece of gear you upgrade with leftover armor materials. Because it consumes the same resources used for existing weapon and armor upgrades, you must decide which equipment to prioritize.

Using extra rewards aligns with the Ancient grade timeline and the Extreme Raid schedule
If you clear Hard or Nightmare mode every week and claim all extra rewards, you will accumulate enough Hands of Death to meet the requirements for the level 20 Limit Break by Week 7, allowing you to secure an Ancient grade Vambrace.
This timeline aligns with preparations for the Extreme Raid, which will be added in September following the 6-week Conquest event. The Vambrace should be viewed not just as a short-term tool for clearing Belgardin, but as a medium-to-long-term growth item that will carry over into future high-level content.
The previously added Kazeros Raid Extreme was a limited-time event that enhanced patterns and difficulty based on the core gates of existing raids. Given the high item level requirements and the restricted revives in Nightmare mode, gear growth and survivability are crucial.
Therefore, you can work backward to determine how much you need to upgrade your Vambrace before the Extreme Raid. By consistently using extra rewards in Hard mode or higher, you can secure a Legend Vambrace by Week 2, Relic by Week 4, and Ancient by Week 7. If your goal is to have an Ancient Vambrace by the time the Extreme Raid opens, clearing Hard or Nightmare mode weekly and using extra rewards is effectively the fastest path.
Meanwhile, in Normal mode, you will be short by 10 materials for a Relic Vambrace by the 7-week mark. It appears you will be able to upgrade to Relic after your 8th run during the week of the Extreme Raid release.
