On the 6th, at the Daejeon Convention Center Exhibition Hall 2, BLG defeated FlyQuest 3-0 in the second round of the '2026 LoL Mid-Season Invitational (MSI)' bracket stage winners' bracket, advancing to the winners' final. BLG is now set to face Hanwha Life on the 9th for a place in the grand finals.

The first set was a tense, back-and-forth affair. FlyQuest drew first blood by ganking top lane to take down 'Bin's' Jayce, but BLG responded in a bottom lane skirmish where 'Viper's' Mel secured a double kill. However, the momentum shifted back to FlyQuest shortly after when 'Berserker's' Tristana overwhelmed the BLG bottom lane.

Constant skirmishes broke out across the top and bottom lanes, as well as around the Rift Herald and Dragon, with the game remaining nearly dead even. The gold gap between the two teams never exceeded 2,000, highlighting the intensity of the match. FlyQuest held a slight advantage after securing three Dragon stacks. However, the balance tipped when their key damage dealer, 'Berserker's' Tristana, was caught out of position in mid lane; the subsequent loss of their K'Sante while trying to save her allowed BLG to close out the game and take the first set.

In the second set, BLG utilized excellent aggro ping-pong in a scuttle crab fight near the Dragon pit to take down Viktor and Pyke. In the top lane, 'Bin's' Gnar solo-killed 'Dhokla's' Ambessa. Although BLG seemed to be taking control early with consecutive skirmish wins, FlyQuest responded with a decisive victory in a bottom lane teamfight to nearly even the score. FlyQuest then successfully secured the Rift Herald, but BLG won the ensuing fight.

FlyQuest showed remarkable focus, however. In a situation where momentum could have swung entirely to BLG, they invaded the enemy jungle to take down 'Xun's' Naafiri, 'Viper's' Ashe, and 'ON's' Seraphine. After taking down 'Inspired's' Skarner, BLG headed for Baron. While FlyQuest successfully defended against this initial Baron attempt, they were forced to concede the objective after a crushing defeat in the following Dragon teamfight.

Using the Baron Buff, BLG snowballed their lead and began to widen the gold gap significantly, eventually destroying FlyQuest's Nexus at 28 minutes to bring the series to 2-0.

In the third set, 'Saint's' Cassiopeia drew first blood against 'Knight's' Ahri, but BLG avoided a disaster as 'Xun's' Vi and 'ON's' Bard rotated to mid lane to take down the Cassiopeia. BLG's defense shone when 'Knight's' Ahri successfully joined the fray to repel FlyQuest's aggressive pressure on the bottom lane.

The teams traded kills in the top and bottom lanes, with 'Bin's' Renekton falling for 'Dhokla's' Jayce. FlyQuest continued to play well in skirmishes, securing three Dragon stacks. However, BLG clearly held the edge in macro play; they secured the Baron—a more critical objective than the Dragon—and destroyed the top inhibitor. FlyQuest remained calm, conceding the Dragon to BLG to buy time to scale. They later secured a Baron of their own thanks to 'Inspired's' Nocturne, and FlyQuest also won the subsequent fight.

Despite FlyQuest's momentum, BLG turned the tide in a decisive Dragon teamfight. Vi initiated with expert aggro ping-pong to disrupt the enemy, and the rest of the team followed up with peak performance to secure a 5-0 teamfight ace. BLG ultimately took the series 3-0 and will now meet Hanwha Life in the winners' final.
