T₩1 Game 2 to reach match point. Despite being at a disadvantage, T1 narrowed the gap with a brilliant setup and pulled off a thrilling comeback, calmly counterattacking even when their main damage dealer was caught.
The early action in Game 2 centered on the bottom lane. T1 seemed to gain an early advantage after 'Oner' Mun Hyeon-jun's Wukong ganked the bottom lane, but 'Yike's' Qiyana rotated quickly to force a 2-for-2 kill trade. However, T1's bottom duo secured kills in a straight 2v2, taking down both Qiyana and Wukong. Karmine Corp responded by diving the bottom lane while Wukong was top, picking up two kills to stabilize their position.
Karmine Corp leveraged 'Cabochard's' Camille to pick off 'Doran' Choi Hyun-joon's Gragas and 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Syndra. Using the initiation potential of 'Yike's' Qiyana and Camille, they aggressively forced fights across the map to rack up more kills. T1 tried to disrupt Karmine Corp through lane swaps, but it proved ineffective. By the 16-minute mark, Karmine Corp held a 4k gold lead.
However, around the 22-minute mark, T1 executed a sharp play. Wukong's initiation at Baron was perfectly followed by Gragas' disruption, allowing T1 to sweep the kills before 'Upset's' Cassiopeia could join the fray. Having erased the gold deficit, T1 turned the tables when Syndra was caught, winning another massive teamfight to even the score. After T1 took down Camille and secured Baron, Karmine Corp settled for the Mountain Soul and later neutralized T1's Baron power play by picking off Syndra and Bard.
In a tense standoff, T1 faced a crisis when 'Phase' Kim Su-hwan's Caitlyn was caught out. But T1 proved they are a team that can turn a crisis into an opportunity. 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok's Bard pulled off a super-save with Tempered Fate and Magical Journey, and T1's perfect counter-engagement shattered Karmine Corp's formation. T1 marched straight into the enemy base to destroy the second Nexus.
