A new stage, 'Land of the Beginning,' has been added to the Workshop of Brilliant Light, one of the endgame contents in Solo Leveling: Arise. The Land of the Beginning consists of defeating the Butcher Hars in the Land of Regret and the Blazing Ruin Surt in the Land of Flowing Flames, before finally taking down the Master of the Beginning, Kargalgan, at the Captured Breath of the Beginning.
Starting with this update, the Legion Commander and Master stages are no longer updated separately; the Master stage is released immediately. This allows players to obtain Kargalgan's Fragments right away, which can be used to boost the Combat Power of the Power of the Remnant. For users who haven't cleared the Labyrinth yet, the Power of the Remnant's Combat Power might be higher than a Labyrinth setup, so be sure to invest in the Power of the Remnant level immediately.
The difficulty requires 4.9–5.1 million CP for Easy and 6–6.2 million CP for Normal. Players who have reached 7 million CP at level 150 can clear it with plenty of time to spare. However, since the Sung Jinwoo mode is limited to Wind-type weaknesses, some say it is quite difficult to clear if Sung Jinwoo uses existing weapons due to a lack of firepower.

The workshop structure follows the same vertical progression as before. After clearing each mid-boss, you can clear side stages to obtain buffs. The first stage features the Butcher Hars. The battle is conducted in Hunter mode, and the weaknesses are Fire and Dark.
Hars has a massive amount of HP. It starts with about 470 bars of HP, and once depleted, it enters Phase 2, where its HP is fully restored for the second round. Additionally, from Phase 2 onwards, the 'Fighting Spirit' gauge—previously seen in Lakas—is added, making attribute infusion via a Stacker the key to the strategy.
Other than that, there are no special patterns except for the occasional Break/Attribute Infusion requirement. Since it is a boss that requires no specific strategy other than being a 'HP sponge,' you can challenge it by simply boosting your Hunters' stats. If you lack a well-built Liu Zhigang, feedback suggests that the recently buffed Yoo Soo-hyun or the Dark-type Sung Il-hwan are also viable options if you have a Stacker, so consider using other Hunters if your Liu Zhigang is underdeveloped.

The second boss is the Blazing Ruin Surt. This is played in Sung Jinwoo mode, and the weakness is Wind. It has about 480 bars of HP and, unlike Hars, does not revive.
Surt has two special patterns. In the first, it enters a giant state and throws multiple fire orbs that you must reflect. Press the F key at the right timing to send the orbs back to Surt and build stacks. On Normal difficulty, you need 7 stacks; if you time it perfectly to trigger a 'Perfect,' you gain 2 stacks at once. Since 6 orbs are thrown in two sets of three, the timing is quite generous. Once you reach 7 stacks, the boss enters a groggy state, giving you a window for free damage.
The next pattern is the Flame Breath + Fragments of Crimson Flame. The boss grows giant and sweeps its breath attack left and right. While dodging, you must hide in safe zones and destroy the 'Fragments of Crimson Flame' scattered around the map. The breath destroys shields instantly, so avoid it as much as possible. You need to destroy 3 fragments, but they are far apart, so be careful not to get knocked down or waste movement, or you may fail the pattern.
Additionally, the area-of-effect attacks that fall throughout the fight are quite painful. Getting hit repeatedly without a shield not only drains HP but also knocks the character down; if you get knocked down while building Overload, your clear time will suffer. Use Extreme Evasion to manage this.

The final boss is the Master of the Beginning, Kargalgan. From Normal difficulty onwards, both Sung Jinwoo and Hunter modes are available. Sung Jinwoo mode is weak to Wind, while Hunter mode is weak to Fire and Dark.
There are three special patterns, as shown in the developer live stream. First, when the boss' HP reaches 75%, it moves to the center and performs an expanding AoE attack. To counter this, avoid the attack, move to the light zones at 12, 4, and 8 o'clock to launch into the air, and then dive onto the boss in the center 3 times (2 times for Easy). The dive attack triggers automatically after a certain time, so move quickly over the boss' head once you are in the air.
The second pattern is the Gigantic Punch, where the giant boss performs a wide-area attack from the edge of the map that cannot be dodged with Extreme Evasion. Since it cannot be evaded, you must run to avoid it. The pattern is fixed, so it is not difficult: dodge right, left, right, left, and then run straight to the left at the end. The radius is slightly larger than the center line, so give yourself plenty of room.
The final pattern involves connecting the boss to Mana Crystals with chains. This time, Mana Crystals are located at 2, 6, and 10 o'clock. When a character approaches them, a chain connects automatically; then, approach the boss in the center to link the chain. Simply connect all 3 chains from each direction to clear the pattern, while being careful of the falling meteor attacks.
