In the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match held at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 29th, Dplus KIA defeated DRX 2-1. Having already secured a spot in the Road to MSI, DK fielded their second-team jungler, Kim 'Chabel' Dan-woo, as the match result would not affect their standing.

After winning his LCK debut, 'Sharvel' shared his thoughts: "I really wanted to win my first LCK match, so I'm relieved we took it 2-1." He then introduced himself, saying, "I'm Kim Dan-woo, also known as 'Sharvel,' and I currently play in the second division. Unlike 'Lucid,' who has a more aggressive style, I prefer to play intelligently."
Regarding his performance today on Wukong, Xin Zhao, and Jarvan IV, 'Sharvel' said, "I felt like I didn't have much to do in the first two sets. I'm disappointed in the third set because I know I could have played better; my skill usage in teamfights was lacking. I did feel some pressure stepping in for 'Lucid,' but 'Lucid' and 'Smash' gave me advice and helped me out."
When asked about being considered a well-rounded prospect, 'Sharvel' expressed confidence: "In the jungle position, experience and track record are definitely important. However, among junglers with similar experience, I am certain that I excel in terms of information and game knowledge, and I am also very confident in my mechanics."
Asked about his growth within Dplus KIA, he explained, "I first joined the team when I was 16. At the beginning, it felt more like I was just hanging out rather than feeling an urgent need to improve quickly. But once I joined the third-string team, I started taking things seriously, and now I'm a starter for the second-string team."
He concluded by saying, "I imagine many fans were surprised or worried that I was suddenly appearing in the LCK. I completely understand that. If I get another opportunity, I will work hard to grow so that, regardless of whether 'Lucid' or 'Sharvel' is playing, fans can watch with peace of mind."
