Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced on the 26th that it will release the 4.3 update for its galaxy fantasy RPG, 'Honkai: Star Rail,' titled 'Submerged in the River of the Living,' on June 1st.
This update continues the tense story of the Ideal Paradise. Trailblazers will join Blade in entering a world within a painting, where they will face the conclusion of Blade's long-standing fate amidst the massive threats of the shadow of the Lord Ravager Asat Pramad and the seal of the Aeon of Voracity. Additionally, the 5-star Fire-type character 'Blade, the Thousand-Night,' who follows the Path of Nihility, will join the roster as a new playable character.
In this new form, Blade, the Thousand-Night can deploy a special barrier and enter an enhanced state upon using his Ultimate. While the barrier is active, he possesses the ability to significantly increase the damage enemies receive. In his enhanced state, he gains access to new combat skills and a more powerful Ultimate. Notably, every time an ally attacks an enemy, he applies a debuff and accumulates special charges; once fully charged, he automatically triggers a combat skill and recovers additional energy, leading to more dynamic combat.
Furthermore, the 'Gift of the Forged Sword' event will be held, allowing players who obtain Blade, the Thousand-Night through Warp to receive the new 'Karma of the Other Shore' Trailblazer outfit for free. The first half of the Warp event will feature a rerun of Hyokwang, while Kirene and Painon will return for a limited time in the second half.
A wealth of new content and system improvements are also on the way. The 'Spirit Amusement Park' event, set in the world within the painting, will open, allowing Trailblazers to take on the role of lead planner to design amusement facilities and paths, guiding spirits to visit and experience them for a unique gameplay experience.
Additionally, a new 'Star-Rise' mode will be added to core combat content, including Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. Players who form three teams and clear three different stages with maximum scores (full stars) will receive 100 Stellar Jades per stage, for a total of 300 additional Stellar Jades.
HoYoverse also heightened player anticipation by announcing a large-scale global collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and the global electronics brand UGREEN, while hinting at a massive, high-impact global collaboration event by teasing the reopening of the Holy Grail War this summer. More detailed information regarding the 4.3 update can be found on the official Honkai: Star Rail website.
