In Game 1, DN Spers' bottom duo, playing Lucian and Milio, secured first blood with a duo kill, but Kiwoom DRX’s counterattack was fierce. 'Andil' Moon Gwan-bin’s Bard roamed to the mid lane to set up a kill for 'Ucal' Son Woo-hyeon’s Cassiopeia, and the team successfully avenged their earlier bottom-lane deficit. DN Spers caught a brief break when 'DuDu' Lee Dong-ju’s Ambessa secured a solo kill, but the situation in the bottom lane remained dire. DN Spers attempted to rotate their Ambessa to the bottom lane to bolster their team fighting, but Kiwoom DRX still came out on top in the ensuing engagement.

Around the 19-minute mark, before the fed Ambessa could join the fight for the dragon, Kiwoom DRX initiated and swept up three kills without losing a single player. The difference in focus was as stark as the difference in growth. By then, 'Willer's' Pantheon had already racked up 9 kills. Continuing their one-sided dominance, Kiwoom DRX easily secured Baron.
