Ahead of its 8th anniversary on May 10, Lionheart Studio (Chairman Kim Jae-young) held a commemorative event at a venue in Seoul on the 7th to share the company's future vision and new project portfolio.
At the event, Chairman Kim Jae-young expressed his gratitude for the long-term success of the company's flagship title, 'Odin: Valhalla Rising,' which is approaching its fifth anniversary, and stated that the team is working to enhance the quality of new projects currently in development. Kim emphasized that this year and next will be a critical period for establishing new growth engines for Lionheart Studio.
The event featured updates on a diversified lineup of new titles, including 'Odin Q,' 'Project C,' 'Project S,' and 'Project O.' Lionheart Studio plans to build momentum in the second half of the year with the release of the MMORPG 'Odin Q' and the raising simulation game 'Project C.' The company’s strategy is to follow these with the loot shooter 'Project S' and the PC MMORPG 'Project O,' aiming for genre diversification and platform expansion.
The company also drew attention with a variety of programs and welfare benefits for its employees. The event kicked off with a performance blending contemporary dance and media art, followed by a celebratory stage by the girl group tripleS. Notably, all 500 employees were given their choice of either Galaxy Buds4 or AirPods4 as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
Since its founding in 2018, Lionheart Studio has solidified its market position through 'Odin: Valhalla Rising.' The company intends to continue building a corporate culture that grows alongside its employees through various initiatives, including high-spec PCs, Herman Miller chairs, free snack bars, in-house cafes, and employee welfare cards.
