Team42 (CEO Na Sung-soo) is set to reveal its first new title in 12 years, following the launch of its mobile game 'Mafia42.' The new MMORPG, 'World of Slimes,' will make its debut at '2026 PlayX4,' held at KINTEX in Ilsan from May 21 to 24. Leveraging the development and service expertise accumulated over the years, Team42 aims to introduce a new type of MMORPG to the market.

World of Slimes' is the culmination of the core gaming enjoyment that Team42 has consistently pursued. Players will explore an unknown world by capturing and synthesizing slimes. Furthermore, the game focuses on providing a unique community experience that differentiates it from existing MMORPGs by emphasizing the close player-to-player interaction that is a hallmark of Team42's titles.

Team42 CEO Na Sung-soo will personally present the development process and future service direction of the new game on the main stage at PlayX4. The Team42 booth will be designed as an immersive space themed after the game, featuring a 'Slime Synthesis Lab' where visitors can experience the game's mechanics firsthand. A Team42 representative stated that the space and programs were carefully planned to allow visitors to intuitively grasp the game's core elements.

The booth will host demonstrations and prize events, offering an early look at 'World of Slimes.' Visitors can experience capturing and synthesizing slimes during the demo, and those who achieve high collection scores in their in-game encyclopedia will be eligible for prizes. Starting with PlayX4, Team42 plans to begin its official promotional campaign by sequentially releasing detailed game information and future service schedules.
