Smilegate HEEMANGSTUDIO (Chairperson Kwon Hyuk-bin) announced on the 20th that it is launching three 'FUNding' campaigns in celebration of the 46th Disabled Persons' Day, in collaboration with users, diversity artists, and social ventures. 'FUNding' is the collective term for the donation campaigns run by HEEMANGSTUDIO, reflecting the idea that anyone can participate in giving in a 'fun' way
The campaigns aim to promote the 'right to health,' ensuring children with disabilities can engage in physical activities without limitations, and the 'right to cultural enjoyment,' allowing them to connect with the world through art.

The first campaign, 'Let's Cheer Together: A Sports Day for Children with Disabilities!', is conducted with 'MyOrange,' an AI-based impact tech startup and HEEMANGSTUDIO partner. It was designed to boost the rehabilitation motivation and emotional recovery of children with disabilities and their families, whose outdoor activities are often limited by hospital stays. MyOrange identifies organizations capable of solving social issues through AI, while HEEMANGSTUDIO hosts the FUNding campaign on its platform from the 10th of this month to June 30 to raise funds.
In particular, this FUNding is linked to 'Pacemaker,' a web mini-game developed by HEEMANGSTUDIO members featuring a running concept to cheer on children with disabilities, allowing users to naturally participate in donations while enjoying the game.
The second campaign is the 'Peak Challenge,' a personal challenge for children with disabilities. This initiative was selected from ideas proposed by users through 'CREATing,' a user-participatory social impact program, after receiving widespread support from the community. The campaign aims to improve the health and welfare of children with disabilities. From the 16th of this month through October 31, participants will raise donations for these children by achieving personal goals, such as running or walking.
The third is the 'Shining Project: Making Differences Shine as Possibilities, Not Disabilities,' conducted in partnership with 'Spring Shine,' a social enterprise that supports artists with developmental disabilities, running from the 20th of this month to August 31. It supports cultural and artistic creation programs to help people with developmental disabilities communicate with society and realize their potential through their artistic talents. Participants who donate over a certain amount will receive special merchandise created by diversity artists from the Smilegate D&I Inclusion Team and artists with developmental disabilities from Spring Shine. It is a 'reward-based funding' model that offers both the joy of giving and the satisfaction of owning artwork.
Kwon Yeon-ju, Director of HEEMANGSTUDIO, stated, "These campaigns are significant in that various stakeholders are using their respective capabilities to support children with disabilities so they can fully enjoy physical and artistic activities as ordinary members of our society." She added, "HEEMANGSTUDIO will continue to fulfill its role as a social problem-solving platform where anyone can enjoy participating in campaigns in diverse ways and have a broad range of donation experiences."
Meanwhile, HEEMANGSTUDIO has consistently engaged in activities to protect the rights and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, such as operating 'MATCH MATES,' a sponsorship program supporting the independence of children with disabilities, and working with the Smilegate D&I team to improve game accessibility for people with disabilities. A notable example includes supporting a rehabilitation program for children with brain lesions through games in partnership with the pediatric rehabilitation AI platform 'JamJam Therapeutics'
