Assetto Corsa Evo has released its v0.6 update during its early access period. This racing simulation, currently being developed by 505 Games and Kunos Simulazioni, has introduced six new vehicles and a new circuit, while also implementing comprehensive improvements to the game's core foundations, including the physics engine and multiplayer system.

The six new vehicles added to the lineup—ranging from GT racers to classic road cars—are the Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo, Ferrari 296 GT3, Ferrari GTO, Ford Mustang GT3, Lamborghini Countach, and Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport. The new circuit is Sebring International Raceway, renowned as one of the most challenging tracks in American motorsport. Known for its rough surface and long braking zones, the circuit is well-suited to the newly added GT vehicles.
Technical improvements have also been made. Suspension modeling has been overhauled, including updates to multi-link/strut systems, roll and pitch center calculations, and bump-stop behavior. Additionally, netcode timing and prediction logic for multiplayer collision detection have been adjusted, aiming to increase stability during close wheel-to-wheel racing. In terms of audio, reverberation processing in underpasses and enclosed spaces has been improved, and sound sets for several vehicles have been either newly created or refined.
Official MoTeC telemetry support has been introduced for the first time in this version. By updating the shared memory library, the developers have enhanced integration with external tools and hardware, a feature they describe as being aimed at hardcore users and content creators who enjoy data analysis. The UI for the vehicle selection screen and control settings page has been revamped, and continuous refinements have been made across all areas, including AI behavior, tires, aerodynamics, rendering, and replays.
In the multiplayer department, a self-hosting server feature has been added. Players can now host their own servers using the dedicated server executable distributed via Steam tools. Assetto Corsa Evo is currently available through Steam Early Access.
