Twitch legends return to competitive LoL as Echo Fox Challenger team

The "League 'Team' of 'Actual' Legends" are back to competitive League of Legends.

On June 2nd (PDT), Echo Fox announced their new roster of Challenger team with very familiar names for those who follow Twitch.

Echo Fox's latest Challenger roster includes Marcus "Dyrus" Hill, Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana, William "Scarra" Li, Danny "Shipthur" Le and Joedat "Voyboy" Esfahani. All of these former players are now better known for their streams popularity; when their Facebook, Twitch, Instagram and Twitch followers are combined, they have a reach of approximately 7.8 million.

The team will be coached by Mark "MarkZ" Zimmerman, former NA LCS analyst/caster who also showed a stunning live performance of Silver Scrapes during the 2017 NA LCS Finals.

The team was not afraid to show their self-awareness of how they are "a different kind of team": "A bunch of washed up former pros are going to come in and win the Challenger series for Echo Fox," said Dyrus. "We're going to play hard but we're going to have more fun than anyone else."

While the fate of Delta Fox, the sister team of Echo Fox that previously played in the Challenger series, is not yet known, the fans of those legendary streamers will be delighted to watch those players play competitively once again.
