A new trailer for 'Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars,' where everything is solved through rhythm, has been released. A special mode that lets you cast spells using rhythm was also unveiled today.
Nintendo revealed a new trailer for the upcoming rhythm game Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars during the Nintendo Direct held on the 9th. The video kicked off the broadcast and provided a relatively detailed look at the game's overall structure.
This title features over 80 brand-new rhythm games and more than 30 cooperative and competitive rhythm games for up to four players, totaling over 110 games in all.
The gameplay in Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars is very simple: all you have to do is press buttons in time with the rhythm. However, the rhythms are not repetitive, and while visual cues are provided, the key is to focus on the sound and follow the beat. The music is once again produced and composed by Japanese musician Tsunku, who has been with the series since its inception.
A new mode called 'Beat Spell' was also revealed, adding a twist to the series' signature single-button mini-games. In this mode, you play as a Mage, using the power of rhythm to cast spells and fight off Monsters. You must cast various spells to suit different enemies and situations, with spells executed through rhythm-based button inputs. In particular, the use of both the A and B buttons promises a fresh take on rhythm gameplay.
Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars is the fifth official entry in the series. It is highly anticipated by fans as the first new release in about 11 years, following Rhythm Heaven Megamix (Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+).
The game will be released worldwide on July 2nd, with Korean language support confirmed.
