On the 8th (KST), in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split, Gen.G defeated APK Prince 2-1. It was a struggle for Gen.G as they lost Game 2, but they weren’t shaken up. Gen.G mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong played Zoe in all three games. He reached his 1,000th LCK kill and was voted as the player of the game.

Congratulations. You defended 1st place. How do you feel?

Although we gave up a game, I’m relieved that we won. I think we need to make improvements through more practice.

You’ve become the 12th player to reach 1,000 kills in the LCK. How does that feel?

Actually, I didn’t know. Now that I know, it feels good.

Your Zoe was undefeated until today. How about that?

I didn’t know that my Zoe was undefeated as well. That’s a bit regretful.

Game 2 was really close and long. You would have talked with your teammates about the situation.

We should have played quicker, ending our turns quickly, but we all were too greedy and lost initiative because of that. Even after that, we made many mistakes so we mainly gave feedback about that.

How was the situation after slaying the Elder dragon?

Before we slew the Elder dragon, we attempted to push through mid. That decision was regretful. We lost too much time. After we did slay the Elder dragon, the recall wasn’t good. We should have recalled altogether.

APK’s mid-jungle applies pressure very strongly. How was playing against them?

I wasn’t that aware. Since we have the confidence that our mid-jungle is the best, I wasn’t too conscious of them.

How about your Zoe? Is it the best in the LCK? The best in the world?

(Laughs) I think I play okay. I have confidence when playing Zoe.

Gen.G’s goal for the regular season would be going straight to the finals. Your remaining matches are against Hanwha Life Esports and kt Rolster. Lastly, a word regarding these matches?

We had many thoughts after losing to T1 and DragonX recently. Our goal isn’t simply to go straight to the finals. We need to bring up our performances and look further into the future, so we’ll be concentrating on that and do our best to win our next matches.
