The Straw Hat Pirates' journey expands into restaurant management with Kairosoft.

On the 9th, BANDAI NAMCO announced a new title, 'One Piece Grand Restaurant,' currently in development with Kairosoft. This game adapts the One Piece IP into a restaurant management simulation, where players join the Straw Hat Pirates' staff to manage the Baratie 2, a restaurant on the sea.

As the name suggests, the Baratie 2 is set as the second branch of the original sea restaurant, Baratie. The Straw Hat Pirates' cook, Sanji, is on hand to help run the establishment. Players will work alongside Sanji to prepare various dishes, curate the menu, and serve customers directly.

The game will feature a variety of dishes from the original series, along with a mechanic that allows players to enhance their cooking using Devil Fruit abilities. Notably, over 400 One Piece characters will appear as staff or customers, offering a unique opportunity to see a wide array of characters from the series gathered together in one restaurant.

With development led by Kairosoft—a studio renowned for its extensive library of business games, starting with Game Dev Story—players can look forward to seeing a vast cast of One Piece characters rendered in the studio's signature pixel art style. Furthermore, the game will feature exclusive character events and special interactions not found in the original series.

One Piece Grand Restaurant will be released on October 22.
