FlyQuest have announced the Go Green initiative in January of this year, shortly after showcasing their brand new floral jersey and headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Through the program, the team vowed that for every milestone reached in the League of Legends Championship Series, a certain amount of trees would be planted.

The team has announced in their Twitter that after the end of the Spring Split’s regular season, FlyQuest has seeded over 5,000 trees, via OneTreePlanted Organization donations. The weekly contributions are based on the “TreeQuest Counter”, adding kills performed by the team, Ocean Drakes, victories and “Friendship Trees”. The team’s top tree planter was Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage, with a total of 70 trees.

In an interview with Inven Global, COO Tricia Sugita has shared what the initiative is about: “Green represents nature and growth and harmony, and also the environment. It represents so much of what we believe in and we're just committed to showcasing the greatness of going green. It's our primary color and we're going to wear it proudly. And it's not just the color, but it represents what we believe in, nature, growth, and environmental change.

The LCS team was the second to be qualified for the 2020 Spring Split Playoffs, after defeating Team Liquid, securing its 10th win of the season.
