The 2020 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring Split schedule that had been delayed indefinitely will resume on the 9th of March. The LPL announced today on their Weibo and Twitter, that the spring split will be resumed.

However, under current circumstances, the LPL has decided to have all the matches online. Players will have to complete a 14-day monitored quarantine period and meet all local health requirements before they can resume participation in the league. Matches will be held online and players will be attending matches from their club headquarters. On-site referees will be arranged as well.

It’s been about a month and a half since the league has stopped due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The LPL had suspended all schedules until further notice for the safety of the players and fans.
