CD Projekt Red announced on the 27th that it will release 'Songs of the Past,' the third expansion for the RPG 'The Witcher 3,' in 2027.

The expansion is scheduled for release in 2027 on PS5, Xbox, and PC. Players will once again embark on a new journey as the legendary monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia.
Fool's Theory, a team composed of veteran developers from 'The Witcher 3,' is participating as a co-developer for this expansion. Further details regarding 'Songs of the Past' will be revealed in late summer of this year.
Since its release in 2015, the original 'The Witcher 3' has recorded over 60 million copies in cumulative global sales. It also holds a record of over 1k industry awards, including more than 250 Game of the Year titles. Players explore a dark fantasy open world from the perspective of the Witcher Geralt of Rivia, carrying out requests to save his adopted daughter, Ciri.
