In case you missed it, the ongoing Fortnite x Unity partnership has been drawing attention across the industry. Now, another Unity-powered title is joining the mix. LINE Games has announced a collaboration with Epic Games that will bring Ember and Blade–the studio’s upcoming action RPG–into Fortnite through a new set of themed cosmetics.
Scheduled to arrive alongside Ember and Blade’s 2026 launch on the Epic Games Store, the cosmetic bundle will let Fortnite players equip items inspired by the RPG’s demon-hunting aesthetic. According to LINE Games, the cosmetics will be included with all Epic Games Store purchases of Ember and Blade when the title goes live next year.
Ember and Blade Challenge Event Running Through December 8
Beyond the Fortnite crossover, Ember and Blade is running a limited-time event exclusively on Steam. The Infernal Trial leaderboard challenge is live through December 8, giving players the opportunity to win several rewards tied to the game’s launch. Standouts include in-game weapon variants named after top performers, early launch keys, and a set of community-focused perks for participants.
Ember and Blade follows Fenrix, an immortal cursed to repeat an endless cycle of death and resurrection. Formerly human, he now serves as a divine weapon descending into a fiery underworld to challenge Asmodeus, an archdemon threatening to rise again. Each death alters Fenrix’s progression, allowing players to unlock relics, build new weapons, and reshape their abilities through what the studio describes as “divine power.”
LINE Games highlights several core features, including strategic skill customization through blessings from various angels, large-scale boss encounters that require careful timing and planning, and lore centered on uncovering the truth hidden across repeated lifetimes. The studio also emphasizes Ember and Blade’s stylized visual approach, combining bold character designs with dramatic effects and high-intensity combat animations.
Ember and Blade launches in 2026 on the Epic Games Store, with the Fortnite cosmetics available at release. The game’s Infernal Trial event continues on Steam until December 8.
