Here is how to watch the Nintendo E3 2021 Direct

E3 has been a bit lackluster so far. Most gamers have sat through the weekend of underwhelming trailers as they await the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday.

Sakurai has hinted that one or two DLC fighters will be revealed at E3. But there's a lot of other potential news about fan-favorite franchises, including Metroid Prime, Pokemon, Mario, and Zelda. There are also rumors of updated hardware in the form of the Nintendo Switch Pro.

Nintendo is definitely set to steal the show this year. So let's make sure you know when it is and how to watch it in case anything historical drops. Like Captain Toad as the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC.

When is the Nintendo E3 2021 Direct?

Nintendo's E3 presentation is set for June 15 at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST.

The Nintendo Direct will be about 40 minutes. Nintendo spokespeople have said the focus will be "exclusively on software," which means games being released in 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.

After the Nintendo Direct, there will be a Nintendo Treehouse live stream that's three hours long. This live stream will showcase some of the titles mentioned in the Nintendo Direct.

What to expect at Nintendo E3 2021 Direct

Nintendo is notoriously secretive about upcoming games and content. A leak at Nintendo is pretty hard to come across. So it's definitely been intense anticipation leading up to this year's E3 presentation. But there are still some things fans are expecting.

Sakurai recently shared in a blog that the next two Smash DLC are "coming soon." Players are assuming this means E3 although it hasn't been officially announced. And if it does happen, players don't know who to expect. Master Chief? Dante? Captain Toad? Crash Bandicoot? Sora? Captain Toad?

Whichever DLC is announced, expect it to be pretty major. Why? Sakurai has claimed these are the last two DLC for Ultimate. Ever.

But it isn't only Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Direct. Previously announced games will also get showcased once again, including Mario Golf: Super Rush and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Then there are the rumored releases. This includes Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, and maybe a Donky Kong game.

This is going to definitely be the biggest presentation at E3 2021 so remember to tune in tomorrow!
