Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Update Adds Legendary Hero Radgrid, Real Time Arena PvP and New Events

Netmarble Corporation announced a new content update for Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, introducing two Legendary heroes, additional gameplay modes and several system adjustments aimed at expanding player options.

The update adds Radgrid, a Defense-type Legendary hero described as one of the Celestial Guardians, alongside Bai Long, an Attack-type Legendary hero focused on single-target physical damage. According to Netmarble, players will have an increased opportunity to obtain Radgrid through a limited-time rate-up summon event, while Bai Long will be available via the Arena Exchange Shop.

Radgrid’s character background highlights her origins as the second daughter of a noble lineage associated with Celestial commanders. Despite a frail constitution, the character is portrayed as possessing strong tactical ability and defensive specialization designed to support back-row allies.

Alongside the new heroes, Netmarble launched a story-driven event titled “Rising Star on the Battlefield,” scheduled to run through March 5. The event allows players to explore Radgrid’s narrative while completing stages for in-game rewards, including a Legendary Hero Ticket and skill enhancement materials.

The update also introduces Real Time Arena, a player-versus-player mode that enables participants to manually select skills during combat turns. Unlike the game’s standard Arena mode, which relies more heavily on preset strategies, the new mode emphasizes live decision-making against similarly ranked opponents. Netmarble said a participation-based event will accompany the feature’s release.

Additional content adjustments include the introduction of new costumes for characters Ace and Rin, a Power Up Dungeon Booster Mode, and a modification to Raid rewards. The equipment bonus acquisition limit for Raid content has increased from 15 to 50 per raid, a change that may affect progression pacing.

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH builds upon the original Seven Knights franchise, which Netmarble says has surpassed 100 million cumulative downloads globally. The title retains core elements such as its story, characters and combat systems while incorporating updated mechanics and modern gameplay features.
