2018 Worlds champion, Invictus Gaming (IG) recently signed Korean LoL coach, Kim Karam as their new head coach.

Kim Karam started his coaching career in TSL, a former Starcraft II gaming team. After the team was disbanded, he still remained in numerous parts of the esports scene including a career as a GSL referee.

Soon he decides to join a Challengers Korea team, ESC Ever as a LoL head coach. In his ESC Ever days, he and his team made one of the biggest upsets in Korean LoL history; a 2nd division team lifting the 2015 KeSPA Cup trophy. That year, Kim Karam also led his team to the IEM Season 10 Cologne title. He and his team made it to the LCK and was soon renamed to bbq Olivers. However, with most of the team's former members leaving, bbq underperformed and was demoted to Challengers Korea. Their head coach, Kim Karam also made his departure shortly after.

Meanwhile, the 2018 Worlds champion, Invictus Gaming is currently on 3rd place in the 2019 LPL Spring. It is expected that Kim Karam will make his official debut in the matchup against RNG on the 23rd.
