New main weapon, the Black Star weapon, has been added in Black Desert Online KR. The new weapon is an orange-grade weapon, and has higher AP and Accuracy than Kzarka weapon. The Black Star Weapon has 21 to 27 AP, 20 Accuracy, and 2 Crystal Slots. Item effects (Additional damage to all species +10 and Attack Speed level +3) and enhancement effects are the same as the effects of Kzarka weapons.
The Black Star weapon is only available through quests, and cannot be enhanced with Caphras Stones. Enhancing the Black Star weapon will require Concentrated Magical Black Stone (Weapon) from +0 to +15, and Flawless Magical Black Stone, which is a newly added enhancement material, from PRI to PEN.
Details regarding the quests and crafting the Black Star weapon will be posted in a few hours in today's KR patch notes.

It is very weird decision. We have Dragon Slayer (?) with a little bit worse AP but free at all with free things for repairing, and now there will be another free weapon with a little bit higher AP and accuracy... for free. Why?

^ That is the reason it's "free", although those quests probably won't be very easy to complete.

It is too expensive to upgrade past +15 and only 1~4 ap more than the already in game boss main weapons: why even add this weapon on the game? I mean I can only imagine that people are going to use this item just for the looks of it.
There aren't any real advantages of having one, 1 ap more than Offin and 4 more than Kzarka isn't a big deal.
I don't know what PA have in mind... But let's see on the long time.

That would be true assuming it upgrades the same.
The thing is, its a different grade item that needs other blackstones so my gues is the difference at tet/pen will be bigger then at base.
The fact that u cant use capras on it makes me expect it to be equal or better then the 20 capra version of kzarka/offin at the same lvl

If possible could you provide any detailed information about enhancing this item? Even down to the cost of the new material used to upgrade it. There's all kinds of rumors going around at the moment. Someone just told me that if you fail at PRI-PEN the item will drop back down to +15, so any information regarding the enhancement process would be appreciated. Even the success chance would help.
