New One Studio announced on the 9th that it has officially released 'Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress 2' (hereinafter Road To Empress 2), the sequel to its globally acclaimed live-action interactive cinematic game, on Steam, the App Store, and Google Play.

Following the success of its predecessor, which received 'Overwhelmingly Positive' reviews on Steam, Road To Empress 2 delves into a larger and more perilous struggle for the pinnacle of power beyond mere palace intrigue. Players take on the role of a seasoned strategist, navigating power struggles between noble factions, deadly rivalries, and critical moments where every choice shifts the balance of power.

The new title features approximately 1k minutes of high-quality, newly filmed live-action footage, highlighted by exquisite cinematic direction inspired by classical Eastern aesthetics and set against an impressively scaled imperial palace. Actors who received acclaim in the first game, including Kuan Hung, Evie Huang, Zeawo Yao, and Hana Lin, have returned to enhance the game's immersion.

Demi, producer of the Road To Empress series, stated that the goal for Road To Empress 2 was to evolve every element of the original, including the scale of the story, the complexity of choices, and the weight of every decision. Like the first game, players will experience a journey from obscurity to the throne through ambition, sacrifice, and power struggles from a first-person perspective. The team looks forward to players worldwide joining this epic journey and determining the master of the throne through their own choices.

To provide meaningful strategic options alongside cinematic storytelling, Road To Empress 2 introduces an upgraded interactive system that places players at the heart of imperial governance. The weight of consequences based on user choices has also been significantly increased; every decision triggers intuitive, cascading effects across relationships, alliances, and court influence, providing an unpredictable political experience.

Furthermore, players can fully immerse themselves in a grander imperial power fantasy. In a world of ambition, loyalty, betrayal, and survival, every alliance is strategic and every relationship can become a weapon in the power struggle. Finally, the game implements a multi-ending system where the future of the empire is determined by the player's decisions, with court dynamics, faction control, and the fates of characters evolving based on choices made throughout the story.

Meanwhile, to show appreciation for the continued support of players worldwide, plans for a series of offline events, including one in Seoul, were announced on the 5th.

The 'Road To Empress: Birth of an Empress Palace Banquet' will be held in South Korea on June 22 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Gavin Art Hall, located on the basement level 2 of 534 Samseong-ro, Gangnam District. The four lead actors—Kuan Hung, Evie Huang, Zeawo Yao, and Hana Lin—along with producer Demi, will attend to bring the world of Road To Empress to life beyond the screen. Players will be able to spend an unforgettable evening with the production team and cast in a space themed after the imperial palace.

This fan meeting is exclusive to players who have purchased Road To Empress 2. Lucky players selected through an official lottery will be invited to the event for free and will receive event-exclusive commemorative gifts.
